In a pilot study, we are investigating the potential of passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) to complement ongoing wildlife monitoring activities in the Ouadi Rimé-Ouadi Achim Wildlife Reserve in Chad. This study is a collaborative project between the Direction de la faune et des aires protégées du Tchad, Sahara Conservation, the Zoological Society of London ZSL, the Swiss Ornithological Institute and the African-Eurasian Migratory Landbirds Action Plan AEMLAP of the CMS.
