Ecoacoustics project of EFForTS

The original ecoacoustics project of the Collaborative Research Center 990 (EFForTS), led by the B09 subproject. We recorded soundscapes using the very practical SM2Bat+ automated recorder. Bird activities in our core plots in lowland rainforest, jungle rubber, oil palm, and rubber plantations were analysed and published in various syntheses. We also analysed soundscapes from Berbak National park, the oil palm exclusion experiment, the oil palm management experiment, the microphone signal-to-noise study, and our bat point counts study.
